Two new signings

| By Stephen King

Halsey seeks to strengthen squad.

Paul Halsey may be on a well deserved leave in the Far East but before flying off he made two new signings.

Reece Beckles-Richards

Thirty-year-old Reece comes to Ware from Potters Bar, one of a number of clubs he has represented in the past.  These include Woking, Kingstonian, Wingate & Finchley, Enfield Town, Cheshunt and Wealdstone.  He is a striker as we found to our cost on 12th November 2016.  He opened the scoring in a 2-0 home defeat to Wingate & Finchley in the FA Trophy.  All is forgiven of course as we welcome him to Wodson Park with the hope that he finds the net again.  This is, I think, his first time at Step 4.

Max Woodford

We also welcome Max to Ware on work experience from Stevenage FC.  By contrast to Reece, Max is just 18 and a goalkeeper.  He is currently part of the Stevenage squad and has made an appearance in the EFL Trophy.  He is looking to get some more time in between the posts.  His initial loan period is for a month but if things work out that could be extended to the whole season.
