This Friday, December 5th, is International Volunteer Day. This celebrates and promotes the role of volunteers thrpughout the world in keeping aspects of their societies running. It might be sports related, elderly care, social activities…. well, almost anything where there is a shortage of more official and formalised support.
Certainly, the day isn’t just about football but we’re not going to miss the opportunity to plug it. Pitching In, sponsor of the three trident leagues (thta’s the Isthmian, Northern and our own Southern League), run a Volunteer Hub for clubs to advertise areas where they need help.
