Where do we start?
Opening day of the league season is August 8th but some sides in our division have FA Cup games that day so not all fixtures will be played. We have escaped that possibility and face a journey to Biggleswade Town for our first match. We return home on the following Tuesday, August 11th to meet Haringey Borough newly promoted from the Spartan South Midlands League. A word of caution, Borough will be in the FA Cup on the preceding weekend and may have a replay that Tuesday.
The big one?
Well, our matches with Hertford have been placed on regular Saturdays, away on October 24th and home February 6th. So we turn to Potters Bar for our home Boxing Day game and travel there on Easter Monday. August Bank Holiday has us at home to Welwyn Garden City, the away game on January 2nd.
Where will it all end?
Not at Beaconsfield which makes a change. We are still away though, this time at Hadley on Saturday, April 17th for our final game in the regular season. Don’t forget that this season will see the play-offs extended to the top seven in the table. Our last home game sees MK Irish at Wodson Park on April 10th.
The remaining fixtures.
We alreay know that we face Brightlingsea Regent at the Park in the FA Trophy on Saturday, 29th August. The remaining league fixtures will appear on the first team page of this website once they have been downloaded form Football Web Pages.
